Skulls

A little gift from the Roswell PD arrived today. Plus I spent most of the day on the phone and writing letters. That put me in the mood to paint a skull in the style of OG Abel.

Wood bowling pins

If you want to try something fun try this. Stripping the cover off a bowling pin, you must finish with all 10 of your fingers.

Paint Kit

It's big it's heavy it's wood!
It's not log it's the paint kit.

You can never have too many brushes.

Another bowling pin for John. Thanks for letting me use your wood shop.

Another panel

I've been gone for 2 weeks and have a ton of things that I should be doing. But sometime you need to do something. Last night that thing was painting, so here's a quickie with some pretty tight turns.

Old project

Here is the first "painting" that I am working on.
when it is finished I'm planning to swap it for a cow that my brother is painting.

Palettes

Different types of art require different pallettes. Many pinstripers use discarded magazines or phone books for palettes. I use real estate magazines. I made a couple of clip board holders over the weekend. The 5 hole is a copy of the Pro Pallette which is no longer produced. The smaller 6 holed one might get cut down.
